Dr Mohammad Maleki

Biography

I am currently an Assistant Professor in Motor Behavior and Sport Psychology, University of Kurdistan, Iran. In brief, my biography includes:
  • PhD in Motor Behavior and Sport Psychology from 2011
  • Soccer Coach (Level C AFC)
  • Researcher in skill acquisition, sport pedagogy and sport performance analysis
  • Scientific sport performance analyst (level 3 accredited) in International Society of Performance Analysis of Sport
  • Teaching physical education curriculums (based on TGFU) in university from 2014

Mission Statement

TGFU principles are developing in Iran through university curriculums and sport coaching courses, but academic research on TGFU would be a new area. My goals as a member of the international Advisory Board would be to:
  • Increase relationships with sport national organizations to help organize and promote workshops and seminars on the principles of TGfU for teachers, coaches and resaerchers.
  • Form the academic networks to facilitate studying TGFU in universities and schools.
  • Extend international cooperation and to inform SIG/IAB members about Iranian's potential in TGFU and sport pedagogy.
  • Form the society of TGFU in Muslims or Middle East countries, with your help and support. I hope to hold the first international TGFU conferences in Iran by the end of 2020.

When I did my first international lecture on TGFU at Cologne University 2016 and I had the opportunity to meet with scientists and researchers.  This experience has motivated me be a strong advocate for TGfU in Iran and also connect our achievements in Iran with a more global audience.
