Based on the USA and published by Human Kinetics, the Journal of Teaching in Physical Education (JTPE) published many articles on game-centered approaches and has contributed one mongraph in 1996 (Vol. 15, issue 4) on this topic and another monograph in 2001(Vol. 20, issue 4) which was focused on the understanding and development of learners' domain specific knowledge.
