Biography

Physical Education teacher, Bachelor of Education, Master degree in Social Sciences for Education Research, and Doctorate in Transdisciplinary Education Research. Additionally, have postdoctoral studies in the field of Educational Research. Experience in undergraduate and graduate programs at various national and foreign universities, where they have also held various leadership positions. Moreover, they have authored over 50 specialized scientific publications and given 40 presentations at national and international events. Their main research areas are: (a) sociocultural aspects of physical education and sport; (b) immigration, physical education and sport; (c) formative and shared assessment in higher education; (d) teaching active strategies ; and (e) sports training.

Goals I have for my country

​I have conducted various research studies related to the use of TGfU in school and university contexts in Chile and other countries. I consider it essential to develop studies related to this line of research in my country and in Latin America. In light of this, I am available to promote research development in this area in Chile and in collaboration with colleagues from other places. Additionally, I am available to promote the educational benefits of TGfU in my country
