Nomination Details
This year is an election year for the TGfU SIG Executive board. Three positions need to be elected including:
Appointments to the executive of the TGfU SIG are for a four-year period and two-year period for Chair/Chair elect/past chair. Elections will take place via an electronic ballot.
- Chair Elect,
- Treasurer,
- Secretary

Executive Election Procedures
a. Newly elected executive members will assume their roles and responsibilities January 1st following the election.
b. SIG members may nominate one SIG member for each of the executive positions by ballot and sent to designated executive member. Nomination ballots must be signed by the SIG member and have the signature of the nominee.
c. Nominations will require the signature of at least two members in good standing, and a signed statement by the nominee to serve in the office.
d. The same person cannot be nominated for more than one position by a SIG member.
e. Members with the highest number of votes will be awarded the position of office and will be notified by Past Chair, responsible for nominations.
Under the guidelines of the constitution, members who want to nominate for one of the 3 positions on the TGfU SIG Executive board will need to complete the nomination form below. If you are interested in nominating yourself or a colleague for a position on the TGfU SIG Executive, please complete the nomination form below by DATE.
Please note: Each Nominee must have two or more nominators. To nominate or to be nominated, the person must be a paid up TGfU SIG Governance member. Nominees must upload a copy of the nomination agreement from BOTH of the nominators.
OLD MEMBERS WHO UPDATE THEIR MEMBERSHIP OR NEW MEMBERS WHO PAY THEIR MEMBERSHIP BEFORE THE END OF THE ELECTION PROCESS MAY BE ELECTED OR VOTE. TO BECOME OR RENOVATE MEMBERSHIP VISIT OUR MEMBERSHIP PAGE HERE.
